ok, so a few of you know that i went to see Heather Clark's dance production in Las Vegas a few weeks ago. Heather Clark is a worship leader/pastor's wife/mother/dancer/painter/etc.... in Kamloops Canada. she did a lot of the worship for the Lakeland Outpouring, and....she did this dance production. the point of the dance production is to raise awareness for "the least of these" (which is why that's what it's called!

as home depot says, "you can do it. we can help." true. absolutely true! but not without some colossal mishaps along the way! lol

ok, to start with, i must confess that math has NEVER been my strong suit. algebra, aced that one with a breeze, but....other than that - not so much. specifically geometry - man, that was hard. i could NOT wrap my head around that AT ALL. it didn't help that i was so OVER it in just a few weeks and developed a "when am i EVER going to need THIS information?!?!" attitude about it! well...apparently DO IT YOURSELF HOME OWNERS need geometry.

ok, so..normally i'm a HUGE blabbermouth. i mean HUUUUGE blabbermouth. anyone on the jc message boards can attest to that. hehe and, while i miss the boards a GREAT deal, jcc really provides lots of opportunities for me to run said mouth. and i'm TOTALLY bummed that i am not utilizing this to the fullest and really developing more friendships along the way (i can't even count how many great friends i've gained since joining the boards!). so...why haven't i?

matthew, my 5 yr old is a little TEEEEENY tiny guy. i mean TINY. like 28lbs. (my 3 yr old niece outweighs him by at least 10lbs!) he is in the lowest average for height on the growth chart, and he doesn't even MAKE the chart for his weight.

ok, so...this came up in the chatter a few days ago & as i am packing up cookbooks & recipes (had NO idea i had so many!), i found the recipe, so....even though no one wanted it then, i thought i'd post it, in case someone wants it while it's still in storage. it makes a GREAT joke (and conversation piece! lol) - if anyone's interested, i'll share the story about when i made it for someone! (i'll even try to post pictures once THEY are out of storage! haha CLASSIC!) anyway...

ok, so.....i think most of us have read the other blog (can't remember right now who posted it...euan, i think?? i'm sorry....brain going a jillion miles an hour right now...) about the power of words. no doubt, the tongue holds the power of life or death.

so does the LACK of words. wow. just...wow.

it amazes me how much JUNK can fit inside such a TINY house! i mean....it's not all THAT tiny, but....1330(ish) square feet for a family of 4 is pretty small - we outgrew it before matthew was born! (and how we lived here with 3 TEENS before noah was born is completely beyond my comprehension!

sooooo excited about this site! it's gonna be SO much fun!!! (once i get the hang of it, anyway!!! hehe)
