Do any of you like the author Ted Dekker? He's soooo awesome, he writes christian thrillers, and fantasy along with some others...well there is this thing called the Gathering where a bunch of his fans come together and have lots of fun. I was just wondering if any of you were planning on attending? One in Dallas, TX and the other is in Chicago, IL.....
Well today my brother walked outside to the car this morning and he saw smoke coming from the garage...which is attached to the house. We all came out immediately and realized there was a fire in there. We called 911 and the fire department came as my dad was already working on the small fire. All his computer stuff was in there, it was his office too. The computers were mostly melted, furniture was toast, but the garage was okay.
Wow, J tonight was amazing! This is only my second concert, but I didn't get to meet him cuz we had to leave right after it was over. But it was sooo fun! Bebo and Natalie were great as well, and I'll try to post some pics and maybe some videos.
Okay so I need a bunch of people's feedback here, or if just one person knows... So those of you who have already gone to a SLTB concert, can you tell me, did Jeremy have a signing line for people who don't have Camp Crew or VIP tix?
Hey everybody.....so as many of you know, I'm running cross country for my first year this year. But these last two meets I've been having really bad side cramps/stiches. Also, I can feel water moving around in my stomach while I run and I had only drank like half a bottle of water before the race. I don't know what to eat, drink, or not eat or drink. Does anybody have this problem? Any tips or ideas?
I got back from a cross country meet a couple of hours ago, right after my church all-nighter.....and I am sooooo tired! But I'm pretty happy with my time. I got 27:36, making a PR and earning a letter! Last meet I got 30:45, so I really like that improvement. I wonder how much better I would have done if I had slept that night before...
My second Cross country meet of the season went pretty well yesterday. It was pretty hard with all the hills. But I improved exactly one minute from last week, so I'm glad about that. Also, I came in 11th out of 29 girls, so not too bad. Thanks God!
It's kinda funny these next three days.....cause today I have an XC meet, tomorrow is the church all-nighter which goes from 9pm to 6am on Saturday, then at 7am on Saturday I head down for another meet after a whole night of nooooo sleep! It's gonna take some serious coffee and energy drinks!!And about half my team is going to the all nighter!
So last Thursday I had my first cross country meet of the season (first time doing cross as well). Wow, I never thought I could run that far for so long! I did okay for a starting point, with a time of 31:45 for the 5k. I definitely hope to knock off a few minutes by the end though. I really enjoyed though how one girl on our team who goes to my church asked if we could all huddle and say a prayer first before we ran....it was very cool!
