I’ve begun to notice a lack of Godly wisdom for men out there these days. Don’t get me wrong, but it seams like more and more stuff is being aimed towards girls these days (very good) but I can’t help but feel like guys are being somewhat thrown to the wayside (NOT good) . So with Fathers Day being celebrated this past weekend and men all over the world being celebrated…I figured I might just share some of the little tidbits of truth that have been given me to share to you from a sisters perspective. So sit back, relax…and read these next 20 ‘tips for life’ carefully.

1. Guys…if your single and waiting on God to bring the right girl into your life, DO NOT post an ad in your church’s weekly bulletin with the topic ‘single guy seeking female companion--DON’T call unless your from God. **Non smoking a plus’.

2. Guys…if you have a teenage daughter who is dating a boy who is having a bad influence on her whom both you and your wife disapprove of, follow these simple steps:
-Offer to take your daughter and her boyfriend ANYWHERE they choose on a date
- Go to iTunes and buy the song ‘I Don’t Want It’ by dc Talk
-Burn the song to a CD, pop the CD in your car stereo
-While escorting your daughter and her date to their location of choice, press ‘PLAY’ on the CD
player and CRANK the volume to 38--don’t forget to roll the car windows down!
You will NEVER see that boy near your home again. Trust me…this works.

3. Guys…NEVER put the words ’I seriously don’t understand why I‘m doing this…I’m just trusting God to reveal that to me’ in your wedding vows.

5. Guys…I don’t care WHO you are, never tell a woman that your love language is smell, and then proceed to whiff her. You might just her love language back-- touch. Like a smack in the face…

7. Guys…if you have a teenage son who is unruly and likes to take out your car for late night joy rides with his friends while they listen to dirty gangster rap full blast, follow these simple steps:
- Go to your local Christian bookstore
-Pick up ‘Amy Grant’s Greatest Hits’--Pop it in your car stereo and set it on all 5 channels.
-CRANK the volume to 38 and let your son go…
Your son will NEVER sneak out late to met his friends again. Trust me…this works.

10. Guys…if your married, never tell your wife that her cooking could be better. You will NEVER eat again.

11. Guys…it’s okay to admit that you have ‘Wait For Me’ on your iPod

12. Guys…NEVER prank call your best friend and impersonate a doctor telling him that his wife is in the hospital having a baby. Especially if she isn’t pregnant. Then you’ll look stupid.

16. Guys…if you’re a teenage boy, remember that you in some of the best and most challenging years of your life. What? Were you expecting something funny here?

17. Guys…next time someone asks you what political party your apart of, say ’Poultry’. More than 50% of people will believe you…

18. Guys…if you one day aspire to have children, remember that kids are kids and they like to have fun. Have fun with them and love them no matter what. What?! Does EVERY one of these need to be funny?!

19. Guys…if you are actually writing down all of these tips besides numbers 16 and 18…God Bless you…

And last but NEVER least…

20. Guys…your loved. Not just by your family, not just by your friends…but by a perfect God who gave it all for you. Even if you forget all of these other tips…never forget this one. He doesn’t care what you’ve done, because nothing is too big for Him to forgive and forget. This is the same God who created the heavens and the earth, and He’s also the same God who can make all things new. Never EVER forget how much you are loved by Him who made you, how precious you are in His eyes, how He made you to be the mighty man of God you are called to be.
