I like e-mail. Really - it's the best thing in internet (IMHO)
Everyday I get mails from one christian site with cool commentaries to some verses, scriptures. These are translations (to russian) from Billy Graham and Oswald J. Chambers everyday readings.
I like blogs. It's also one of the best things in web 2.0. There are some cool christian blogs that i used to read (no names )
Just wanna say how deeply I love my mom and my dad. Always near, always kind, always wise - these are my parents. Mom is always exacting and organized - so am I. My dad is a handy person - so am I. I have my mom's smile and dad's nose . They did everything to make me happy - E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. And I'm so grateful to them.
Newsweek.com gives us the "top 100 books meta-list". (here is the link http://www.newsweek.com/id/204478). Leo Tolstoy (Russian literature rulezzz) is #1.
I've got an 8gb iPhone and it was full of music before I updated its software. Now I have 456 songs inside and i still find it too much. Usually I shuffle them. But during a day I (physically) can listen to 100 of them - and it mades me sad that some songs of Hillsong, Planetshakers and Jeremy Camp (for sure ) will miss my ears. I wish the working day will be more than 8 hours!
My younger sister got a car. It's not all brand new but still. And she drives not so well (i think).
My father has a garage on the ground floor of his house. So my sister used to park right befor it. And one day she missed forward gear with the backward one.
As the result...
Thanks God my sister was OK. The car was not harmed. Only 2 hours of trying to free the car
Just read an article in livejournal.ru about the High Line in New York (Manhattan's West Side). The idea is awesome. It's more harder to reconstruct then just to ruin something that has a historical value. It's sad that in Russia it is the standart - we simply destroy old buildings, 'cos it's much cheaper. We have no reconstruction culture.
How often I want someno to care fo me - my parents, relatives, friends. And even I want to care for myself - 'cos I thing I'm strong. When I have troubles at work, in my life I try to care for myself or I call parents and friends and they try to care for me. So we try to solve problems with our hands. And you know what - when I fail (as a result of caring for myself) - disappointment comes and feel that no one can help me and everyting is just awful...
Today I read Lamentations 3. Man, it's like to ride roller-coaster! First you read about all bad things happened to someone who sinned against the Lord. Terrible things!
And than - boom! The blessing comes. Here comes hope, love and faith. If you trust God, if you believe in Him, if you with Him Our Father will help you. Here comes sunshine after darkness! Wow!
