Born of the Spirit

This is how it happened to me. I was 40 yrs old unhappy with my perfomance, and life decissions. I was going through severe depression. While sitting on my couch, I thought "I should just let God take over and tell me what to do, nobody could ruin their life any better than I did." I said to him, " I give my life to you, you either tell me what to do, or I'm not moving off this couch. I will just sit here until I die." I really meant it too. I was not going to continue as I did in the past, even if I had to die on that couch. It wasn't long though he came to me. It was the second time in my life he spoke directly to me. I felt his presence broke down and cried. He said " Now that you have done this for me, I am going to allow you to see clearly". I had just started reading my Bible and came accross Mathew 7:5. I cried again and knew it was him. He told me to persue my interest in Air Conditioning Repair. Ya it sounds wierd huh.. I asked my mom for money to go to A/C school. By this time I had borrowed alot because I was unsuccessful, but to my surprise she said ok immediately. Soon God was going to reveal part of himself to me. I learned of the First Law of Thermodynamics. It states, "Energy can not be created or destroyed it just changes from one state to another." Hmm How long has energy been around then? FOREVER! How long will energy be around then? FOREVER!! If we are in control how come we can't creat it or destroy it? Cause we are not in control!! He is. This is science and he brought me to it to reveal his power and prove his existance has been FOREVER!! I was fearful after school about going for my 1st A/C Job. He said "Just go I will be there when you need me". The first resume I sent I got a response and an interview. I was in accounting prior to going into A/C. I met a person just starting an A/C business. He said "you set up my office I will teach you Air Cond." I agreed. He turned and looked at me, got this funny look on his face and said " I don't think it was a coincidence that we met".  I said I don't think so either. My life has improved ever since God took over.
