God's Grace

Ok so in church my paster was talking about God's grace and justification and such and he gave this illustration:

" You are standing in a court room in heaven. Satan is the prosecuting attorney, God is the judge and Jesus is the defending attorney. Satan is saying, "Hey did you see what she did? did you see what she thought?". God says, "Yes, I did. All of those accusations are true." But, then Jesus comes and doesn't even need to say anything. He just holds up his hands. He says, "These accusations are correct, but the penalty is already paid for. I already paid it" and holds up His hands. Then when it comes to the sentencing, Jesus says, "Because of my payment, she can spend eternity with My Father!"

I think that is so amazing! The Bible also says that it was God's idea to send Christ to die for us! God's grace is enough! I'm so overwhelmed with the power of God's grace and love! When I think of this, there is nothing else i can do but praise HIM!
