Jeremy,
Greetings to you from Connecticut!! I wanted to share this scripture with you because I know that losing melissa was hard and this scripture explains it all.
2 Corinthians 1:3-7
3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
7 And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.
The one verse that stands out to me is verse 4. God comforts us when we suffer, and likewise, we are able to comfort others who are hurting. I know that because of the suffering I've endured, I can literally feel other's pain when they hurt. This leads me to be an intercessor. Another example is you Jeremy Camp. You went through the pain of losing Melissa to cancer, and now he the Lord is using you to comfort others through your music. I'm Listening to There will Be A Day, I thank God for you everyday Jeremy that he allows you to Comfort Others through your music who are broken inside.
