has God ever

Has God ever woke you up in the middle of the night to pray for someone?  In my case more than once but I'm going to talk about one that happened just a few days ago.  My ex-girlfriend, Libby, and I, were on the phone talking this past Monday.  We got off at like 11:30 and then it was time for bed cause I had to be at work at 9 the next morning.  Well at about 3:30, I all of a sudden just wake up, and I tried for like 30 minutes to go back to sleep and couldnt.  Then i had the urge to pray for my ex-girlfriend and one of my best friends.  Before I could clock in at work, I had to call her and find out what was going on.  She told me that she was starting to have real bad chest pains and had problems breathing.  But at around 4 it started to go away, the time I started to pray for her.  Has God ever?

Has God ever spoke to you in a way He never has before?  Once again more than once but im going to talk about one that happened just a month ago.  If you read my last blog, you should be able to tell I'm called to youth ministry.  Well I've had this calling on my life since I was 16 and now I'm 25 and just now deciding to get serious about it.  It was time for my church's yearly youth camp.  I just started going to this church, was only known by a few of the members at the church, so I wasnt able to fulfil the duties I wanted at camp.  It was the last full day of camp, we were rocking having a real good time in God, seen 9 and 10 year old kids get drunk in the Holy Ghost, and for pentacostals, thats a big deal, but during the service we had a bunch of kids that decided that they didnt want to be with us.  At the camp site we go to, there is a hill like the Hill of Calvary, with 3 crosses.  These young people sprinted to those crosses and prayed at the cross.  I started to run after them and the Lord Spoke to me and I froze.  He said James you're not ready.  Those kids are closer to me than you are.  I've been saved a lot longer than most of those kids been alive and they are closer to God than I am.  What a revelation.  Has God ever?
