My Daily Struggle

Clinging on with the last ounce of strength I've got left. I scream for help and no one hears my cry. Day by day living a lie. Forced to be someone I'm not. Lying on my bed at night. My pillow counts the tears I've shed. No one knows how hard I've fought. Standing weak in this last round. One more hit will finish me off.
Accepting this my last defeat, I surrender at His feet. And just as I exhale my one last breathe. And see myself mercy-less. His strength abides in me. Then I awake to a whole new day. Ready to face my next fight ahead.
