My kit

I was really blessed with this kit. I had this rather old beginners kit which i had playing on for 5 years or so, and i really needed something new. Beeing only a teenager my budget was quite small, so i almost gave up looking for a new kit. I had been searching ebay and other similar sites for cheep drums. Not top class drums, but just decent ones. Then i came across this kit on a danish drummer site, who had these old (1985 or so) Pearl Masters drums. A new kit in the same class like that would probably be around $4000, but this one was listed at $550! I was thrilled, it was just what i wanted! The reason it was so cheap was, that it had this ugly orange coating on it, and some bits and pieces were lost through the years. That was no problem, since the kit was so cheap, i still had money to buy the missing bits and pieces, and i could just rip off the orange coating. So, I arranged a pickup for it, (After all, it was located in the other side of the country) and i got it on a late wednesday evening. Unfortunately i was in bed with the flu, but that didn't keep me from working on them. So, after 15 hours of work, and yet $100 on new drumheads and bits and pieces, this was the result!
