Praise God for Miracles!!!!

A year or a year and a half ago, I posted a prayer request on the boards--back when I didn't come by as often.  It was for my friend, Amber, and her husband, Adam.  For a few years, they've been trying to have a baby.  After the first year of unsuccess, she went to the doctor.  She received very heartbreaking news that she was infertile.  At the time, she was working at a women's clinic.  She had to suffer through the pain of other women going in to have abortions.  Once, she told me that she actually went into the bathroom and cried, wondering that if they didn't want their baby, why wouldn't they give it to her?  She wanted a baby so bad.  But her and her husband just started praying.  They let their faith lead the way.  They went to several infertility clinics, and still kept being unsuccessful.

Well, their 5th anniversary just passed and they just found out that they are going to have their first baby.  Amber is obviously VERY excited because she was told she'd never give birth to a child, and now she is in her first trimester. 

This goes to show how great God is!!  The doctors don't know how she got pregnant, but it was in God's plan and that's all that she, her husband, and the rest of their brothers and sisters in Christ need to know.  They are very grateful.

PLEASE pray, though, for this pregnancy to go very smoothly.  Since she was told she was infertile and because of that, had a very hard time getting pregnant, it puts her at a higher risk for miscarriage or delivering a baby still born.  Please pray for the safety of both mother and child during this pregnancy. =)
