Son Shine

Son Shine

I woke to the Son as He looked down on me through my window I see His face

Brightly glowing in the morning sky shining through the vanishing mist

I feel the warming touch of His rays and can tell there is a smile in His heart

For I know with Him at my side my day is going to have a beautiful start

There are no shadows that I fear because I walk in His radiant light

And He keeps me safe all through my days as long as I stay with Him

He guides my steps with paths that are straight as I follow right along

Then when my day has come to an end I will praise Him with beautiful song

As the Son settles for the night my dreams are filled with joy

Knowing that when I wake again a brand new journey will begin

And my Savior who is the Son of God will be there once again

He will take me in His loving arms giving me courage to carry on

So that I can make it one more day and praise Him with my song

A poem that makes Him smile at me with beaming rays of hope

For His Father who is also mine will bring me to His house

There a room waits for me to spend all of my days

And I will dance with angles around His majesties throne

The Son always shines on me His grace completes my life

The mighty love He shares with all that in Him we will be true

And when my days are over on earth my treasure will be greatly stored
