Til Jesus Returns!

A few weeks ago we brought a troop of about 20 of us to Hills Alive festival...ages 76 to 2.  The night before the concert I went out on the deck behind the HolidayInn at about 730 or 800 o'clock.  The weather was perfect light breeze shaded from the building.  I was all alone as I pulled my guitar out of its case and played a couple of worship songs to God....then, just when I finished my second song, I was playing and singing lightly, an elderly lady from 2 floors up leaned by her window and said "How long are you going to play?  We're trying to get some sleep here!"  Before 8pm?  15 years earlier I know what I would've said to her but I'm now a changed man.  So I just told her I would play one more song and quit and she kindof snarled at me and left the window. 

Could she have just closed her room window and turned the fan or air on to cover up the sound of my playing?  I can't imagine myself acting to rude to anybody but unfortunately there are all types in this world...I could tell they Definately weren't here for the Christian Music Festival!  I'm pretty sure I did what Jesus would've wanted me to...It still bothered me for a while, THEN the other day my wife TAmmy told her mother about it. 

Now I have a great answer if this ever happens again thanks to Rita.."I'm Gonna Play Til Jesus Returns!"  AMEN
