Unexpected Laughter

Have you ever had the experience of laughing for no reason whatsoever, as in no one or nothing of this world triggered it?

Lately as I listen to "Take My Life" I just want to start giggling.  It hasn't gotten to the point of full-fledged laughter, but I'm expecting it to.  The last time I had an experience like this was in high school when God filled me with the Spirit at a revival meeting.  I was on the ground for quite awhile (don't remember how long as that was 14 years ago).

This year as God gently plowed into me and blew me away as only He can do, His fire was re-ignited (I had been praying for that for awhile during my very sporadic quiet times).  Now I ask God to keep the spark for that Fire going so I don't go backwards.

Today I was at work about ready to leave when Air1 played "Take My Life" and sure enough, the giggling started (and a little modified head banging as I was wearing my Martyr's Cross necklace and J dog tag that like to hit each other when I move in an area that needs to be quieter).  Usually I'm driving my car in stop & go rush hour traffic when I hear this song and the giggling starts.

The power of God is soooooo awesome and the filling of the Spirit so needed during difficult times (like job losses that are unexpected and an answer to prayer @ the same time, which should be another blog entry in itself as there is a story behind that).  And the Fire of God that is full of burning passion for wanting to do His will, blows me away.  If the giggling during "Take My Life" (or any other J song if the giggling spreads) helps fan the flame for the Fire of God, so be it!!!!  It was J's music and Matthew West's "The Motions" that God used to plow into me and blow me away.

Now that I've written down my wandering thought process (sorry if it's not coherent), I think I will go to bed as I need to be up in 5 hours Laughing
