What´s easier?

Hello cyberspace people!!! sorry for getting lost. I´ve been busy trying to survive highschool, (although most of you might laugh at this last sentence, please try to remember the horror of it.) Anyways I just wanted to share something I wrote long ago about certain story in the Bible.

Remember Mary and Martha? I know you do because evry single time the pastor talks about the importance of Not only doing things for God BAM! that verse apperas out of nowhere.

BUt what I love about God´s Word is that you can read the same verse a hundred times and always learn something completely different.

You know I always thought Martha picked the hardest part, and that she was so lame for letting Mary get the good part of sitting at God´s feet.

Well,  think it over, what is easier ¿ Spending time with God or chores? As you can imagine as a regular teenager I Detest chores, but somehow I do them everyday in spite of myself. But what about praying, or reading the Bible, or just spending time worshiping God with your Heart. I think all of us find it easier to do more "wordly" time-consuming things. Few people really have the determination to sit with Jesus and just listen to HIM.

So which part do we pick?? Will we just go on with our easy going hectic life, or will we find the determination to look for God every single day of our lives...
