who is Jesus

Through out history, there is one name that has been spoken of more than any one in histoy, more than washington, bush and obama put together, and why not add hitler to that list.  his name is Jesus.  almost every religion on the belinet believes that Jesus was a real person.  some believe he was just a person like you and me.  i agree with those who say Jesus was a person.  He was God who came in the flesh and lived as a human.  he faced temptations, he was ridiculed and he was tortured just like us, maybe not in the same way, but yes, hejust like us.  i know some people who who aint saved that believes that Jesus did do miracles but not for the Glory of God.  well my bible tells me of a story in John 11 where Lazarus was dead and Jesus spoke and Lazarus came back to life, if that aint a miracle for the glory of God, im sorry but i have no idea what it could be.  so so far we see Jesus as a man who performed miracles.  Jesus is so much more than that.  He is also a provider.  i could give examples in my lige of how he provided for my needs but it would take way to long and i really wouldnt know where to begin anyway.  in Matthew 14 we see a story of 5000 people being fed with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish.  im sorry but 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish couldnt feed me and scott, none less 5000 people.  how did it happen, the provider provided.  now let really see what the Bible saids who Jesus is.  in Matthew 16 we see Jesus ask the desciples "who do men say the i the Son of Man am?" they ansered and said John the Baptist, Elijah, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.  now i want to stop there and ask a dumb question, if John the Baptist baptized Jesus, then how in the world could Jesus be John the Baptist, gives yall a little something to think about there.  then Jesus asked them who did they say he was.  yall this is very important.  they didnt say he was just a normal person, they didnt say he was just a miracle worker, or just a provider.  Peter saids "thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God."  but can i say he is so much more than just the Christ.  Jesus is my best friend.  Ive learned thorugh out the years, earthly friends will get you into trouble, let you down, forget about you, give up on you, just flat out hurt you.  Jesus has never gotten me into trouble, he has never let me down, he has never forgoy about me or given up on me or even hurt me.  he is the king of my heart.  all my heart wants to do is serve him.  and if by serving him right now is to type sermons/blogs or minister right here in JCC, then thats exactlu what im going to do.  He is the king of my life.  the rewards so far is awesome and the more of my life i give over to HIm, the more i Live my life for him, the greater are my rewards.  Jesus is everything to me.  there was a song we did in church several years ago, scott you may know it, that has a line in it that said without him i am nothing.  thats right without him, i am nothing, but with him i have everything.  who is Jesus to you?  is he just a normal person.  is he somebody you call on only when you are sick and need a miracle.  do you only call on him whne you need something and you only look at him as a provider.  or are you like peter who said you are the Christ, you best friend, the king of your heart, you everything.  think about it JCC.  have you claimed he was your everything but havent lived fo him.  do you only come to him when you need something.  time is running out,  im sure a majority of us reading this is as close to God as weve ever been.  but maybe two or three of us cant say that Jesus is my everything.  Who is Jesus.  i know who is is, do you.  i could go on and on about who he is but i dont want to bore yall.  if where you are sitting at right now reading this and you dont know who Jesus really is, i ask, no i plead, with you , message me, laura, scott, josh, aaron, kelly, sarah. somebody you feel good about talking to and find a way to know who Jesus really is.  hes not some miracle perfoming guy who died on a cross for no reason, he died cause he wants you to know him!
