Worldly Music

Wordly Music --when I became born-again after a very worldly /desperate lifestyle, I stopped all worldly music because it brought back my memories of old self/ pain. I also think we have enough to distract us from the Lord and aide our flesh....  NOw, however, I find that there is "wordly" christian music such as RED's Never be the Same; The Fray's You Found Me....  at first I was like, "this doesn't help me keep my mind on Christ", but now I'm like these songs totally Jam... and no memories of the past tag along with them.  I'm thinking it's Christian entertainment (not worship by a long shot). If I'm going to listen tto music to be entertained (sometimes entertainment is good)...  it might as well be from a Christian artist.  Any thoughts from those of you who have had a true conversion from a wordly lifestyle?
