Your Hair

But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. Luke 12:7

Have you ever felt like you weren't important to God? Have you ever asked, "why would God care about me?"? We tend to look at this verse and accept it, but not apply it to ourselves. This is the verse that we tell someone else who is going through a hard time, but when we are going through a hard time, we don't think about it. Notice that the verse does not say that God knows how many hairs you have on your head, but the number of each hair. That shows that His knowledge is personal. He cares about you.This verse tells us that based on the fact that God knows the number of each hair on our head we shouldn't be afraid. We shouldn't be afraid of being abandoned. We shouldn't be afraid of dying. We shouldn't be afraid of God EVER leaving us. We have no reason to fear. If God cares enough about you to learn the number of each hair on your head, don't you think that He cares enough to be with you during the rough times in your life? When you are going through the rough times, don't ask yourself, "why is God allowing this to happen to me?"; instead, ask yourself, "what is God preparing me for?". Everything we go through can be used to glorify God, if we will allow Him to work through each situation and dedicate ourselves to Him.
