My Blog

If you really knew me, would you really like me?

I consider myself a really likeable person, however, some of the things I have done are not very likeable.  I find that forgiveness of self is the most difficult challenge I face in my life.  God speaks of forgiveness of us and  I feel when I am unable to recieve His gift of forgiveness He is probably hurt by that.  As His forgiveness truly is a gift offered to us through his infinte Grace and plentiful Goodness.

Working with the public daily!!!

I work with the public daily and sure wonder how many christians are actually out there some days.  As some days are rough compared to others!  Perhaps I need to pray more for acceptance of others or perhaps I am doing my best...some days I just don't know!  Although despite this, I do always pray for others even the public that can soooo get on my nerves some days.  What do you guys think?  Do you work with the public too?  And how do you deal with it on "bad" days??

Late one moonlit evening, my husband and I decided to take a leisurely bicycle ride.  As we were riding along a quiet street, we heard a cry sounding like a newborn babe.  Well, my husband stopped to see what it was.  I did not want to stop as I was preoccupied by the recent news I had gotten of my Mom having cancer which had spread to the liver. My husband did stop and called to me "It's a kitten"  and I asked him to bring it home for me.  He wrapped the kitten in his t-shirt and brought it to our home  Being only 3 weeks old I had to bottle-feed the kitt

The only monsters...

"The only monsters in this world are those who pass for human, who cast shadows and are reflected in mirrors, who smile and speak of compassion and shed convincing tears"

This is an excerpt from a book I recently read, I am curious as to what it means?  I think it is a reference to hypocritical people (Those who pretend to have a belief or moral virtue that they actually do not have.)  I would like some input from you guys...what do you think the quotation means?
